HOW TO GET TO METEORA

The route to Meteora is circular (approximately 7 km in total). You can start from Kastraki and end up at the eastern entrance/exit of Kalampaka and vice versa.

Visit Meteora easily by choosing one of the following recommended ways:

BY PRIVATE VEHICLE

There is access to all the monasteries as well as various parking spots along the way.

From Kalampaka to Meteora: 09:00, 12:30, 14:30
From Meteora to Kalampaka: 11:00, 14:00, 16:15

The route is cyclical: Kalampaka’s bus station > hotel "Divani" > Town Hall Square > "Vrachos" campsite > KASTRAKI > "Boufidi" campsite > METEORA: Ag. Nikolaos Anapavsa > Roussanou > Varlaam > Megalo Meteoro > Ag. Triada > St. Stefanos (stops at all monasteries) and vice versa on return.
